    USCL 2011 Miniature Gems

In this Chess U special Tournament course we will present to you with the “disasters” and the “miniatures” of the 2011 US Chess Leagues games. While all the players presented here are overall very strong and knowledgeable players, in each game one of the players for one reason or another committed some unforgivable sin. We present 10 games to help you learn 8 principles from their mistakes, as well as see how their opponents were able to take full advantage of those mistakes. All the games presented here ended before move 30 and some even finished in just 20 moves. Our lessons deal with tactics, openings, tournaments preparation, as well as psychology. In most games the openings and their general concepts are also presented. While this course does not offer a guaranteed path to victory, you will gather some new information to improve your tournament results and overall understanding of the game.  All the games naturally have lot of tactics in them that are very exciting to follow and guess at. Hope you enjoy the games!
