    Anand 201

Vishwanathan (Vishy) Anand, born in 1969, is the current World Champion of Chess in 2011.  He defended his title in 2008 vs. Kramnik and in 2010 vs. Topalov, both exciting matches. His long and illustrious career includes wins over all the recent former World Champions as well as other top Grandmasters.  He has an exciting attacking style and there is no shortage of combinations to be found in his games.  At the same time, he has excellent calculating ability which leads to him spotting many beautiful defenses when under pressure!

In this course, we will play over ten of Anand's famous attacking efforts and learn the principles behind his strong play as we solve quizzes and learn!
